If you’re hungry, there are over 100 great places to get a quick bite to eat or even a gourmet meal here in Branson. From American favorites, to ethnic dishes, and everything in between, your taste buds will be tempted and your stomach will be full once you visit some of the choices offered in town. Whether it is a national favorite, or a local Branson eatery, you’ll not be disappointed.

Of course we have the national favorites like Joe’s Crab Shack, Olive Garden, and Red Lobster, and the usual fast food favorites like McDonald’s, Taco Bell, and Wendy’s, but Branson also has lots of local choices that people love to try. There is always a new choice or an old favorite with new dishes around Branson.

Branson’s Best Original Restaurants include The Great American Steak & Chicken House which is hard to miss with the giant chicken in the parking lot, and Fall Creek Steak & Catfish House that bills themselves “Home Of The Handtossed Roll”. The Plantation Restaurant features delicious catfish, pan fried chicken, and ribs and also has a buffet, and Whipper Snappers has all you can eat lobster, crab legs, and seafood.

Jackie B. Goode’s Uptown Cafe is conveniently located directly across from The Titanic and features great food and fun, free entertainment daily, and the great A Tribute To George Strait Dinner Show.

Want to sing for your supper? Well you can try that anywhere and see if it works, or you can let someone else do it for you. Mel’s Hard Luck Diner in the Grand Village Shops features Branson’s original singing servers. The diner’s servers, hosts, cooks and cashiers are also professional singers, song writer, and musicians singing for tips and entertainment. Mel’s promotes the “biggest banana split in Branson” and is famous for their Root Beer Malts.

If you like barbeque, Rib Crib and Famous Dave’s on the strip offer hearty meals, but just a short drive down Highway 165 toward Table Rock Lake will bring you to the famous Danna’s BBQ and Burger Shop where you will find the best meats in town. McFarlan’s Bakery & Pie Shop in the Branson IMAX Entertainment Complex on Shepherd Of The Hills Expressway is a great Family Restaurant with delicious pie. Great steaks are sizzling on the grill at Montana Mike’s, and Outback Steak & Oyster Bar. Not sure what you want? Maybe Golden Corral Buffet & Grill or Sadies Sideboard is more to your liking. Both offer abundant choices for the entire family.

If you would like to dine in style and have a tasty meal, go to The Keeter Center at the College Of The Ozarks. The students at the college pay for their tuition while studying the hospitality industry by working at this great restaurant that is just down the road from town on 65. The food is delicious and it there are many days when the place is packed due to its growing popularity.

Silver Dollar City has some great down home cooking from huge turkey legs to a home-style buffet. Check out Molly’s Mill Restaurant, Lucky Silver Mine Restaurant, Buckshot Annie’s Skillet Cookery, and the Dockside Grill, just to name a few.
